About Us

In the past, Winter Garden was a major contributor to the Florida citrus industry. And the Old Packing House (OPH) was a foremost and famous contributor to the thriving citrus growing, packaging and delivery industry.

Since 1909, Winter Garden has changed dramatically, recently earning recognition as one of the top ten small cities in America for its diversity, immersion in the arts and music, safety, culture, and most important, the quality of life of its residents.

Situated at the intersection of Tildenville School Road and the West Orange Trail, the Old Packing House (OPH) will offer, residents, guests and tourists a new family friendly destination that features community events, artisan eateries, arts & crafts, and a state-of-the-art Co-Lab Office Space we call CitrusNet.

The actual citrus packing labels once featured on citrus crates will adorn our building on all sides as well as numerous old time photos depicting the history of the OPH. This is just one of the ways we honor the past as we embrace the future at the restored OPH.
